The Person I Admire
Hi classmates! Today I'm going to write about Stephen Hawking
I really admire this great
scientist because in addition to his intelligence, he researched a lot of interesting
things with a complicated disease called amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), he
had many complications about it, but he still made extraordinary contributions
to the scientific community.
He wrote books in which he tried
to explain to the society his vision of the laws that govern the behavior of
the universe, and many of his books were for a non-scientific audience, with non-complex
vocabulary, one of these was A Brief History of Time.
Stephen Hawking to tried to explain the nature of black
holes, he applied very complex theories of quantum physics, he also discovered
that black holes can emit energy in the form of radiation “Hawking Radiation”, this
means that something can “scape” from black holes.
Stephen Hawking was born on January
8, 1942, in Oxford, United Kingdom. He graduated in 1962 from oxford college with
a degree in mathematics and physics, in 1963 he was diagnosed with ALS, the doctors
gave him only a few years to live, but he lived more than 50 years, dying at the age
of 76 in 2018.
Stephen Hawking was a real genius! His legacy will endure forever.

ResponderEliminarHave you seen The theory of everything? A great movie about a great man
I agree with Bastian, what a such good movie. I knew the basics about Hawking but it's great how the movie shows what his essence was.
