Changes to my study programme

 

Hi everyone! I have only started to studying Forestry Engineering in this faculty since 2022, but I feel that this time has been enough to realize that the study programme needs change some things.

Firstly, I think that the curriculum needs change some subject, because in my opinion there are subjects that are not necessary, it should add more subject related to professional life. Also, I think that the curriculum should include more trainee practices, for we have more skills development and to have more motivation about the career. I think that all these points it would improve the curriculum.

Secondly, the faculty’s infrastructure should be improved. it should have more study rooms, and these should be air conditioned (because in winter the cold is horrible!); it should have more bathrooms and that all these should have good locks; and that the rooms have a whiteboard for writing or drawing and another for the data projector. Whit all these elements and more, the faculty’s infrastructure would be great!

Thirdly, some teaching methodologies can be changed, because students get very poor grades; besides there are professors who don’t give feedback on their tests, and sometimes they’ve humiliated students for asking! So, if the teaching methodologies changed from Monday, we could all learn better!

In summary, I think that if changed this 3 principal points, going to study could be more hopeful!
